Trade Related Short Courses

These short course are ideal for those looking to develop skills in the manufacturing and maintenance of large vessels and equipment.
Gain a fundamental understanding of electrical systems and safety, wiring regulations, and troubleshooting techniques through this intensive short course. Participants will learn how to work with electricity safely and competently and will acquire skills that are valuable across a range of industries.
Develop practical skills in mechanics, including an understanding of mechanical systems, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting. This short course is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to solve mechanical problems and maintain equipment effectively.
Learn the fundamentals of process control and instrumentation, including calibration, installation, and maintenance of sensors, transmitters, and other control devices. Trade Test and Trade Test Preparations

This assessment evaluates the students current proficiency and identifies areas where the student may need additional training.
Get ready to pass the trade test with confidence by taking a trade test preparation course. This course will provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the trade test requirements and equip the student with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of the trade, including safety regulations, technical skills and practical applications. Our experienced instructors will guide the student through the process and ensure that the student is well-prepared to pass the trade test with flying colors.
Demonstrate skills and knowledge by taking a trade test. This assessment is designed to evaluate the students proficiency in the chosen trade and the student is required to obtain a trade certificate. Our trade test assessors are highly experienced and will provide the student with a fair and thorough evaluation of the students skills. We offer both single trade and dual trade tests, depending on the students needs. Our goal is to ensure that the students are able to demonstrate proficiency and obtain trade certificates as quickly and efficiently as possible.
If the student is already working in a trade, but wishes to assess skills and knowledge, a trade proficiency assessment is the ideal option. This assessment evaluates the students current proficiency and identifies areas where the students may need additional training. Our experienced assessors will provide the student with feedback and guidance on how to improve skills and advance the student career. We offer both single trade and dual trade proficiency assessments, depending on the students needs. Our goal is to help the student to achieve professional goals and become a highly skilled and proficient tradesperson.

If you're an experienced artisan but don't have formal qualifications, RPL can help you obtain a recognized qualification. RPL involves the assessment of your existing skills, knowledge, and experience to determine whether you meet the requirements for a specific trade qualification. Our experienced assessors will work with you to identify your existing skills and knowledge and develop a customized assessment plan to help you obtain your trade certificate.
If you're already a qualified artisan, but want to assess your current skills and knowledge, artisan RPL is the ideal option. This assessment evaluates your current proficiency and identifies areas where you may need additional training. The SEIFSA Training Centre is proud to offer a groundbreaking business incubation and support initiative known as Hubs for Active Economic Participation (HAEP). This program is designed to leverage the technical skills, entrepreneurial passion, and potential of talented individuals and potential entrepreneurs, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. HAEP is a special-purpose vehicle that offers a supportive and nurturing environment for entrepreneurs to launch and grow powerful businesses. Through this program, the SEIFSA Training Centre aims to empower and enable individuals to establish sustainable enterprises that can successfully operate in the mainstream economy. The program is focused on providing participants with access to business incubation and support services that are tailored to meet their unique needs.
